Rabbi Zoe Klein
Rabbi Zoë Klein grew up in Connecticut surrounded by woods with a pond at the bottom of a little hill. In the summer she and her brother caught frogs, and in the winter they went sledding and tried to stop before going into the icy pond. She only fell in once. Rabbi Klein has far better taste in books than in music. Two of her children have both declared that their father, Rabbi Jonathan Klein, downloads better music than mama. Her third child is only just learning to smile and laugh and so has not picked sides. After graduating Brandeis University, receiving ordination at HUC in New York and serving Temple Shalom in Connecticut, Rabbi Klein came to Temple Isaiah on Pico Blvd., in Los Angeles, where she serves as Senior Rabbi. Every day she is grateful her path led her to this wonderful community.
